Chillhi was built by two young founders who knew exactly what they didn't want: anything that looked like every other brand photo on the internet. No boardroom lighting, no matching blazers, no handshakes in front of a glass building. They wanted something that felt like them.
The brief was clear - millennial energy, no corporate stiffness. The kind of imagery that makes you feel like you already know these people before you've read a word about what they do. Relaxed, confident, and shot with personality front and centre.
Chillhi is a brand that understands its audience, and the founders carry that same self-awareness into how they present themselves. This shoot was about finding frames that matched their natural register - two people building something together, and genuinely excited about it.
The Brief
The founders came in knowing exactly what they didn't want. No matching blazers, no glass-building handshakes, no imagery that could belong to any other brand. They were building something that felt unmistakably them - and they needed photos that did the same. The brief was short: millennial energy, personality first, and nothing that made them look like they were trying too hard.
The Approach
Founder shoots for young brands have a trap: they default to looking professional at the expense of looking like themselves. The result is imagery that could belong to anyone. For Chillhi, that was exactly the thing to avoid.
The session leaned into movement, laughter, and the natural dynamic between the two of them. The goal was to get out of the way and let the shots happen rather than orchestrate them. Personality over polish - the kind of photos that do the introduction before anyone has to read a bio.

"These are the only photos we actually want to use. Everything else felt like a costume."
